Philippe Hugon, Senior Research Fellow at IRIS, is Professor Emeritus, qualified teacher in Economics. He is the Director of the CERED, a center specializes in development economics and transition.He is also the Director of the Master of Development Economics at the University of Paris X-Nanterre and President of the Center for study and research for a new Applied Economics.
He is a consultant for many international organizations and national institutions (World Bank, ILO, European Commission, OECD, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UNDP, UNESCO) and was a member of HCCI ( French High council for International Cooperation – 2000-2003).
Philippe Hugon is the author of a hundred articles in specialized reviews and more than 15 books on development and international political economy.
Philippe Hugon died on April 20, 2018 in Versailles.
